Thanks John! I guess the issue is nearly impossible for me to test. It seems that switching to the user is causing the issue. If it’s not, than I don’t have any way to really know how 1% of (seemingly random) users are getting their role reversed or removed. I’ve tried to different role editor plugins. Same issue. I’ve tried deactivating them altogether. Same issue. I don’t have any other plugins that interact with users roles

I use the Divi theme by Elegant Themes. I deactivated it and tried a default wordpress theme – same problem

Not working for me. Only images on the homepage are being rewritten, no other images throughout the entire site are being rewritten

Just to give some closure, I was able to fix my problem my removing these lines from my wp-config file (I’m running multisite)

so did I but it’s still broken for me. Even with the default theme activated. HERE’S THE WEIRD PART – it works FINE if I’m logged in! What the hell is going on?

As am I. Only works IF I’m logged in. Than I can add products just fine. I’m happy to give anyone brief access to take a look at my site, ftp, whatever.

well things are back to broke for me – EXCEPT WHEN I’M LOGGED IN. As an admin, everything works fine – if I log out, I get the “oops, there’s nothing in your cart” when shopping around. Here’s what’s crazy: I’ve turned off the “add to cart” button and enabled the “buy now” instead – this also does not work for non-logged in users. I can see the buy now only if I’m logged in. If I log out, I still see the add to cart. I’ve tried enabling the “users must register to checkout”. This doesn’t work either – it still redirects non-logged in users to the the “oops, there’s nothing in your cart” message

again, everyone should be contacting their theme developers with these issues as well. Definitely an issue tied to the latest upgrade and what is most likely outdated themes

hey gang – anyone having trouble will most likely find (as I did) that it’s your theme. I paid $47 for a getshopped support token only to have them tell me there was nothing they could do and that my theme was outdated. Try using the newest default WP theme and see if the problem persists

I turned off wp super cache, to no avail. I know this, everything worked fine until I upgraded to the latest version last week. I’m happy to lend a login to someone if that helps

would you mind posting your fix? I have this same problem. Is it as easy as removing that one line?
