In reply to: Interior Blog images have no CSSI found it. I had a hunch forever that it was the htaccess. But it looked good to me! However, it wasn’t. The htaccess was pointed to the index.php under the document root. However, it should have been pointed to the blog/index.php. *facepalm* Sweet nibblets. I got it at least. Thanks everyone! ?? I’m still new to WP and appreciate the support!

In reply to: Interior Blog images have no CSSFor the regular site (not the WP area), yes. But the problem is, it’s trying to pull the images from the CSS which, of course, doesn’t work. Hmmm.

In reply to: Interior Blog images have no CSSI think I just found the file it’s pulling from. It’s pulling the header2.php from the root/lib folder. Is there anyway to change that? :-S

In reply to: Interior Blog images have no CSSHey people! ?? Thanks for helping me out with this!
Someone overrode the default theme, but I’m experiencing the same issue with the other themes. I just updated Twenty/Eleven theme and activated. All plugins are still deactivated. It’s still happening. ??

In reply to: Interior Blog images have no CSSAll plugins are currently not active and I did revert it to the TwentyTwenty and the same problem does persist.

In reply to: Incredibly slow–followed all adviceHey everyone!
I was on the phone with GoDaddy forever this morning and tried a few things with no luck.
Here are some things what I have tried and here’s what I”m thinking:
– Restored the db several times.
– Cleared out the WP-content folder to help restore it to the default. No luck. It reverted to the default, but didn’t help the speed or the 500 error at all.
– Cleared out the plugins. No luck.
– I’m actually wondering if it’s DB issue. ??Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Incredibly slow–followed all adviceI did change the plugin folders. I couldn’t revert the theme because I need access to the Dashboard don’t I?

In reply to: Incredibly slow–followed all adviceHey!
I’m striking out more than anything. I can barely get to the Dashboard. I tried to set the theme many times, but failed each time (it kicked me out to the login screen). I have deleted the advanced-cache file in the wp-content, but it didn’t help. ?? Any other tips? Should I try to get into the DB and set the theme there?

In reply to: Incredibly slow–followed all adviceHey Krishna!
I backed everything up (I do have FTP access). I renamed the plugin folder. That didn’t work. I managed to get into the dashboard once. Then it kept kicking me out to the login screen. I re-installed WP (all except for the wp-content folder) and it that is still not helping it any.
I’m trying to revert it back to a different theme. Hopefully I’ll manage to get to that page sometime today.

In reply to: Incredibly slow–followed all adviceHey Songdogtech!
I realize that, but they haven’t had this problem before until the SEO packages were installed I guess. And the rest of the site is running fast–just not the WP side. ??

I did rename the plugin folder for Super cache. WP seemed to be able to delete it anyway. It’s deleted. I’m gonna try to re-install it.
I can get to the Dashboard only sometimes. At times, it will kick me back out to log back in.
Really appreciate your help! ??

In reply to: Incredibly slow–followed all adviceI’ll give that a shot! ?? Right now I’m having trouble trying to get it from stopping to time out. I keep getting a 500 error.
