I shared your answer with my hosting provider.
Thanks.
Hi @haseeb0001, I installed this new version of post-smtp. The reported error is no longer present. I tried sending a test mail and viewed logs and settings. Everything seems to be OK.
I am in the process of migrating these sites to a new server so I think the problem will solve itself.
Hello @robert681 the problem occurred with the last automatic update.
Two sites, one with WP 5.5.9 and one with WP 6.0.3 crashed showing the above error message.
I deactivated the plugin manually by renaming the folder containing it.Trying to reactivate it (on WP 6.0.3) I get this error message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'const' (T_CONST), expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/classes/Settings.php on line 30
At the moment I do not have access to the logs, I will follow up as soon as I have news.
Great. Nice to know.
Do you think this could be a useful feature to add?
I have noticed that it is not easy to find elsewhere. The new version, 5.3.3, seems much faster. So far, in the first tests, no errors have been found and the speed is acceptable.
I am also experiencing slowness with the new version of Media File Renamer. In some cases, the script even times out and I get a response (Json):
{ "code": "BROKEN-REPLY", "body": null } { "url": "/wp-json/media-file-renamer/v1/rename", "message": "The reply sent by the server is broken.", "code": "BROKEN-REPLY", "body": null, "debug": {} }
I am currently back to version 5.3.0.
Thanks for your feedback Jordy.
Hi @tigroumeow
Thanks, but I want to select only attached files and rename them based on the media title and not the post title. Is it possible?
Could you please add this use case in plugin documentation?
Is your plugin using this function in the plugin?
https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/wp_generate_attachment_metadata/Last night I analyzed plugin code and I understood why some images have the word Optimization N/A. It’s my fault, I made a mistake in a regular expression excluding images that I thought should be compressed.
I take this opportunity to point out two possible improvements:
- Add a tooltip on the “Optimization N/A” text that is more explanatory of why optimization may not be available.
- Improve the regular expression input interface with feedback on the effect produced and error checking.
Cheers.
I think it should be in the Bulk Edit Confirm page.
I used “Media Cleaner” to delete images with no file, selecting those with issue “Not attached file” or size 0.00 KB
