Thanks for the extended comment plugin recommendation. At least it keeps me from having to spend hours re-opening all the posts manually.

Count me among those having this same problem. Upgrade to 3.1 didn’t help, deactivating all plugins didn’t help. Interstingly, I notice a few others who use have iPower as a server. Could this be a server problem perhaps? Wish WordPress would acknowledge this problem. In the meantime, I’ll try the plugin mentioned above.

I had WP SuperCache deactivated but I’ve totally uninstalled it now (I think, that’s a big difficult). I’ll see if that works. If not, I’ll try deactivating the rest of the plugins.

The TwentyTen theme looks like one to check out. Running Thesis now but maybe it’s time for a change.

Yes, I have! It’s incredibly annoying. I’ve asked this same question on the forum and have noticed some others are having the same problem but I can’t find any response. I really wish WordPress would address this issue because it’s becoming a real problem to go back and edit each single post every time this happens.

Okay, it’s back now. Don’t know what happened, pretty scary.

I’m having the same problem and see that a few others are also and am wondering if anyone has figured out which plugin might be causing this problem.

My comments are being closed on a fairly regular basis and I have to go in and edit about 170 posts each time it happens. It’s getting extremely frustrating.

Mine is the same. Since I updated the stats are at zero and not recording any visits at all. Is anybody working to fix this?
