In reply to: [Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site] HTTP? HTTPSHi Matthias
I think I am on the path to a resolution but it is not easy. I have chatted in with Bluehost and we cannot seem to make the script work. They cannot seem to figure it out either. I am now working with another resource to see if bewtween us we can sort this out. We have solved the Http/Https issue with a minor change to the htaccess file
Thanks for the help.
Hopefully I can get this sorted today it is my last item for this site and i just want to be DONE LOL
I have a greenhouse to build and it is getting colder by the day…
Problem SOLVED
The developer of the WP FullText Search plugin update the plugin on my site and it resolved the issue between WP Smush and WP Full Text Search when used with AVADA theme.
Thank you everyone for help with this. I would use and recommend either plugin to anyone who needs image optimization and search on their website. Truly awesome support from everyone
Just wanted to update anyone else who has been following this issue.
epsiloncool updated the WP FullText Search plugin on my site and everything now works well between the two plugins WP smush and WP FullText Search. The level of support received on this issue was truly awesome. Highly recommend this plugin and this developer.
IMPRESSIVE!
Yes I will do so;
subject line for the support ticket will be WP Smush and Search.
Thank you for taking so much time with this. I am very appreciative.
Best
aYes
1. install wp full text search
2. install smush,
3. optimize your images,
4. go back to the set up page for wp fulltext search and under the section on the first screen where it says limit search by mimetype put in applications/pdfwhen you back to your media library all your images except the pdf’s are not visible. Please note this may also be an AVADA issue because that is the theme i am using and sometimes as much as love it it does not always work and play with others ??
Please note i also have some custom CSS on my site provided to me by wp fulltext search.
I was the original poster of this topic. Smush is great! It gets the job done but there is a conflict with wp-fulltext search plugin it doe not remove pictures and the conflict only take place if you use a mime types entry in wp fulltext search. I am somewhat of a newbie myself but if you read the entire forum it should put your mind at rest. The smush plugin is lightweight and does a great job!
No problem, I am fairly new to WordPress but i like the way it works and the collaboration. I am going to reinstall the plugin and then look at purchasing for other websites i work on. For right now the work around is not elegant but then again when is life elegant!
all the best
aokay please let users know if you have WP FullText search enabled with the mime types of applications/pdf in limit mimetypes box on the search options box then all of your images will disappear from media library except pdfs if you install Wp smush and run it. I just tried it.
I am going to post this to WP FullText support forum. If you need access to images you have to deactivate that plug in, run smush, make any changes to images and then reactivate your search plugin and re add the mimetypes limitation, if you are using one.
I hope this helps others and thanks for helping me
best
aOkay let me follow those steps and see if get anything of help. I will post results by end of day.
Thanks
First of all I would never use a pirated version of anything. Second of all my images are not intact. what kind of response is this? I have a genuine issue here and my images are not showing up in the media library. I have tried to regenerate thumbnails to no avail that is why i posted the question.
In addition i removed the plug in to ensure no conflicts. This postingw as as a last resort before i reload every image on the site.
