In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Xero IntegrationSorry, I should add that I’m using the WooCommerce Xero Integration plugin.
Thanks.
I apologise: the problem was my fault: I wrongly activated ‘Protect external forms’, rather than ‘Custom contact forms’.
I now have ‘Custom Contact Forms’ activated and ‘Protect external forms’ set to OFF, and the problem of genuine sign ups being blocked has been fixed – the opt in forms now work correctly.
Further, the spam opt ins have been stopped as well.
Many thanks, both for your help and your patience!
Martin.
Hi there,
I’m afraid enabling the ‘Custom Contact Forms’ prevents anyone and everyone from moving forward..!
After entering an email address the form should redirect the person to an interim confirmation page. However, entering an email address with the Custom Contact Form protection enabled results in nothing happening: the email address remains in the email field and the visitor is not redirected.
I have switched off that field temporarily as I’m currently running a promotion.
Cheers,
Martin.
Hi there,
Many thanks! I have enabled ‘Custom Contact Forms’ and I’ll let you know if I’m still having problems.
Cheers,
Martin.
Great, many thanks!
Hi again,
My apologies – I’ve just worked out what was happening and it’s all working properly now, so please ignore this.
Thanks and apologies.
Martin.

In reply to: Cannot Reply to Comments after Update to 5.5Hi there,
Your English was fine..!
Thanks for that information. Actually, I don’t get any JS error when I attempt to reply to a comment from with the admin area.
Absolutely nothing happens – the link is dead.
The other links all work fine.
This function worked perfectly before the update to 5.5 so, in my view, it is a bug within 5.5 that the WordPress dev team needs to fix.
Cheers,
Martin.

In reply to: [HD Quiz] PHP Version for Latest Update (1.8)Hi there,
Thanks for the quick response!
My site health screen only indicates 1 issue (‘You have plugins waiting to be updated’). I’d attach a screenshot, but I don’t see any way to do so!
Cheers,
Martin.
Great, many thanks, all good now.

In reply to: [Event Timeline - Vertical Timeline] How to over-ride the inline CSSHi there,
So this solution:
$ ti_rand = rand (1, 100); In the place of it put this: $ ti_rand = 97; For the height in the widget.php file, line 1213, find this code height: 450px You can set the height here. For the theme you can configure from option.
. . . works fine, but every time the plugin is updated the code is over-written – which does not help me much.
Please make it possible to set this height, either via custom CSS or via a plugin option, without having to re-set it every time the plugin is updated.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Event Timeline - Vertical Timeline] How to over-ride the inline CSSHi there,
OK, thanks, that worked.
Will the changes I’ve made be over-written when the plugin is updated?
Many thanks,
Martin.
