I understand your point that basically it would take custom development to achieve this and that this is outside the scope of your free support. No worries. I was able to find a workaround in any case by having my theme display the imported images at 100% width, and that’s good enough for me.

Which file should I modify? I looked at every single file searching for things like image, photo and 720 but I couldn’t find anything of note.

How can I do that? Can I do it by editing the plugin or do I do it on the Facebook app side of things?

Exactly, right? i disabled mine too but I really hope that it gets fixed so I can start using it again, because I absolutely love the plugin. It seems the plugin hasn’t been updated since May, but I guess that’s how it is with plugins like this, it’s a pretty straight-forward plugin and stays more or less the same. The creators just need to hear about bugs from us so that they know what to fix ??

Figured this out! Used the tried and proven “deactivate all your plugins and activate them again one by one to see which one is bad” trick and I found out the Wysija Newsletters plugin is causing the problems. Too bad, I liked that plugin, but Invite Anyone is much more important to me!
