Do you think you’ll offer the feature to show more than one section per page with different information any time soon?

Appreciate your suggestion about the custom posts, if I run into difficulties with my current method then i’ll do that.

Thanks I will have a look at the new features, however I don’t think it will help in my case as I want to display different “employees” (not actually employees) in different areas.

For now I’ve recreated the look of the employee area in a normal text area.

Just to be clear, to use the child theme method, do I take a copy of the fp-employees.php widget in the child theme, name it differently (fp-employees_2.php) and change the class to, say: <section id=”employees” class=”employees_2-area”>. This will then appear as a seperate widget in wordpress?

Hi thanks for the advice, I tried uploading the logo via the custom menu on the live server, but it still creates a link http:https://

The strange thing is that it has the reference https:// (ie the correct one) in the media library.

So why would it work differently on my local version to the live version?

A way around this would be if I could type the link to the media file rather than have to drag it into the area. Can this be done relatively easily?

Also as a slight aside, I think it would be useful to be able to use a file from the media library when selecting the images in the general section of the custom menu area. At the moment it appears that you have to upload from an external source (although again I may have missed something)

I didn’t realise that when you scale an object, it still occupies the same space as the original size. I created new images at the appropriate size and it now works fine.

I had a quick go trying to remove some of the slides via the child theme, however it wasn’t too obvious how to do it. Would it be possible to post some code with instructions to turn off slides 2 and 3? Otherwise I will wait until the update arrives.

You can make modifications to the theme by adding css into the child theme theme-options section. However ideally it would be possible via the style.css file modifications. I haven’t yet tried the plugin option, although it seems from other people that this doesn’t work either.

Thanks, I’ve realized the problem – the toggle button does not show up in internet exporer, although if you click where it should be, the drop down options still appear. Chrome shows the toggles fine.

Just to note, the thread provided above by weblizar doesn’t appear to solve the child theme problem…
