In reply to: Add search bar to simplajeremys, a search bar is included in the wordpress package, so it is probably there somewhere, invisible. Your theme is likely hiding it. Check your CSS files for “display: none”.

In reply to: User end works, admin is white screen?I have this problem sometimes. I’ll login as admin. The browser attempts to transfer data and…stops. White screen, which, if it could talk, would laugh an evil laugh.
Refreshing the page can resolve the issue temporarily. But where’s the bug? My suspicions lie with Plug-ins. I deactivated a few I didn’t need, and the problem seems to have been resolved. Still haven’t found the bug though…
My Answer: Blogger101, try refreshing your page. If that works, then either come back here and tell us, or, if you’re a bit more adventurous, try deactivating some of your Plug-ins, and then do lots of tests. See if the problem has gone away. And then, adventure-seeker, come and tell us your tale.

In reply to: I’m at my wits end! Help PLEASE!!!!Let’s address this question piece by piece. You really have two topics to address:
- You want to make your blog the main page of your website. Simple. See item 5 in the WordPress installation instructions.
- You want to get rid of the sidebar and header. Not sure about this one, but I did find this topic: Get rid of sidebar on ONE page only??. That might get you started.

In reply to: Problem when writing a postI think you are trying to say that you don’t know how to turn on the visual editor in WordPress.
Instructions:
- Sign into your admin page.
- Click on “My Profile” in the upper right-hand corner.
- Under “Personal Options,” check the box that says, “Use the visual editor when writing.”
Then, go try to write a post. Let us know if this works!
