Our plugin can post with feature images however if the link is manually posted on your facebook then it should generate the image.

To check if the image is generated while posting the link on the facebook please use the below link https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/ and debug. If it generates the image then our plugin also works.
To use the image you need to set the Facebook Og tags on the head of your website with the image URL and only it will show the image on the Facebook.
Please check the Og tags on the header if there is any author used to display author.

Thank you for the consulting the issue with us but we have never use the RSS plugin. Could you please update our plugin, we have added another method that can auto post to the Facebook that is through Facebook Mobile API. You can test with this API.
