If it helps anyone else, I had an issue with a checksum error on a file today. It didn’t go away even after reinstalling WP… until I cleared my browser cache and re-ran the scan. Now it’s all good!
Just posting this in case it helps anyone else having similar issues. First thing you should do if you’re still having problems after following the plugin’s advice is clear your cache!
