Ah I see. I can make their suggested changes to the GTM code in my child theme. How can I use GTM4WP to create the dataLayer, but ensure it doesn’t install the actual GTM code(s) on my website?

It appears that Yoast was having issues with W3 Total Cache. After disabling the plugin, the social issues seem to have stopped, but I wouldn’t really consider this issue resolved.

You are correct in that the hyperlinks in your post do not work, but if you copy those urls into a new tab of the browser, they will load. Please try again.

If I’m not mistake, I believe that the open graph meta data needs quotation marks around the urls, and it looks like yoast removes those. See the Open Graph protocol: https://ogp.me/

@marcanor Thanks for getting back to me and sorry for the delay.

My websites it intigress.com and we started seeing the open graph data on our social media profiles after updating to Yoast 14.X, but we have since rolled back to using Yoast 13.5 per @supertrooper2’s message.

We’re seeing the same issue. OG properties are missing the quotation around the specified content. Any workaround other than reverting to version 13.5?

You were able to lead me in the right direction. After I FTPed into my theme’s function.php, I found another solutiion similar to yours that might be useful to anyone else wanting to make similar changes. It can be found here.
