You can also stick this in wp-config.php which will output the error to a file instead of on screen.

I just tried with 4.0.1 multisite and like others here got this message:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

Destination folder already exists. /home/site/public_html/wp-content/themes/blablabla/

Theme install failed

There were no error messages other than that.

That fixed the message for me zoranc. I’m using WP 3.8.1 and the notice appeared immediately after upgrading Wordfence tonight.

I get the same error whenever I add a site to WordPress multisite 3.5.1. When I go back to the admin dashboard everything is fine and the site is added. Didn’t have this problem previous to updating to WordPress 3.5.1 but then again I haven’t added a site in a while.

Same problem here where the default links work but using custom permalinks gives a 500 error. *sigh* This bug is a BIGGY and now I’ve gotta restore my site to an earlier version and NEVER trust doing an update without researching it again ??

I have this problem as well. I’ve tried importing my feeds to be published immediately as well to be held as drafts but FeedWordpress will still import the duplicate content. The only thing that seems to stop it is if I change the duplicate content to be a private post. I’m currently using WordPress v2.0.2
