Thanks blackspiral… good to know. Doesn’t help me much right now though. I need to put the image gallery for listings on the listings archive itself and not just on the singular listings and can’t make that work without templating. Be nice if they would get at least some basic docs up about the new system.

Same problem here; I cannot make any of it work, no matter how many times I go over that slim documentation.

and I have figured that problem out; turning on ajax for form submission broke that code. I wanted ajax so it didn’t reload the page but put the submitted message inline, as the form is inside an accordion.

Any thoughts on that? What I’d really like to do is reload the page, but have a 5 second popup saying the form was submitted.

No, using the pdf creator that comes with Forminator.

Now I have another related issue – the code above has apparently stopped working in the email notification itself. It was working this morning, and then quit working, oddly enough kind of piecemeal, first in the email subjects of one email, then another email, the html field that comes from the shortcode didn’t render, then in the body of later emails, and now won’t render at all in any emails. It’s just a simple text field.
That code has been working fine for a while.
The front end form is fine, the shortcodes render there. Just not in the email. I didn’t change or add any other custom code, just been changing some of the language in the form today.

Scratching my head as to what to test next.

Hello again… due to delays with the client I haven’t gotten back to this.

Ok this works fine in the email BUT does NOT in the PDF that is rendered for the submission. Instead of the values from the fields it shows the field shortcode, ie like [post_title] and [my_cf_occupes]

What would I have to add for the PDF to also show the values instead of the field shortcodes?

I changed the hidden field to 4200 as you suggested, exact same result. Form on the front end is fine, the email is still putting 4200 in the Processing Fee field.

However your comment about conflicts did get me thinking… a couple months ago when I was first struggling with this, I had used a snippets plugin to set up some calc field code. Then I got sick and didn’t get back to this for a few weeks, when i did I used the cpanel file manager to set up the code.
There was a snippet in there that I didn’t think had anything to do with this, deactivated that, and the email started working properly again.

So there was some kind of conflict going on there. I would not have found it without your help! Thanks!

I think i can mark this one resolved at this point.

I removed the visibility rule, same result as before. No change.

This works in the email notification! Thank you! I haven’t built the PDF for this form yet but I’ll check to see if it works in there as well when I get it done.
