If a person registers, they are told to check their email Inbox for a password- no email appears in their Inbox or Spam box. Should they then request a ‘lost password’ they receive the lost password email; so I don’t see how this can be an SMTP issue. The problem only occurs with a new registration.
Do you agree that is not an IP block issue?
Again, the problem seems to be only with original registration password emails.
