Both of the plugin uses the same menu position, Thats what making the problem. As it mentioned on https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/add_menu_page#Parameters

The position in the menu order this menu should appear. By default, if this parameter is omitted, the menu will appear at the bottom of the menu structure. The higher the number, the lower its position in the menu. WARNING: if 2 menu items use the same position attribute, one of the items may be overwritten so that only one item displays!
Default: bottom of menu structure

So now we now made our plugin to get automatic menu position. It will be at last of the menus. Disable and remove the plugin and reinstall the Floating Social Media Icon and it will fix the issue.

You are using the manual code placement and so it needs to be done with proper css. This is a css issue and it needs to be fixed via css code adding.. assisting you via email. The problem may caused because of your theme.. we made the plugin style and css to make it integrate well with almost all themes.. but the case you mentioned are rare cases.. so if you can post a link to your site. we can review your theme and plugin style.. and if we found any conflicts we can fix them. we defined style class and id for each of the social media icon instance to its easy to fix the style conflicts with theme styles.

We are sorry, right now we dont have the float start and end position setting option in the free version. but we do have the option to set floating start position. end position. options to set number of icons in a row.. etc in our premium version. please take a look at our site https://www.acurax.com/products/floating-social-media-icon-plugin-wordpress/ and you can see the comparison and a live option to see how the premium versions float works..

Floating Social Media Icon Supports Rss Feed Icon only from the version 1.0.2 and the version is released on 8th of may 2012. upgrade to the latest version and you can start showing rss feed icon.

You need to insert the code on your header.php or footer.php or any other template files which loads on all pages except function.php

function.php is the file to define and declare functions..

you can use widgets if your theme support widgets. so no need to worry about php code placement..
