In reply to: How to have Space between photosI insert my picture than, in HTML mode, insert Returns through the Enter key which usually leaves blank lines or line spaces. This doesn’t work in Visual mode, only in HTML.

In reply to: 2.1 and MySQL 4.1.10aPerhaps someone else can give me the codex link? Or a hint as to what it might be …

In reply to: 2.1, posting and advanced-cache.phpTo my last, the problem appears to have been solved. I removed (not deleted!) the wp-config.php file and uploaded a new, blank advanced-cache.php file to wp-contents, then re-uploaded the wp-config.php file. The system made as if I was reconfiguring and then corrected itself, accepting the new advanced-cache.php file and allowing all processes to continue unhindered.

In reply to: 2.1 and MySQL 4.1.10aTrent, I can’t get the codex page as the link appears to be dead, can you give it in full?

In reply to: No WYSIWYG Editor in 2.1Mine is still slow, however I appear to have sorted out a couple of problems. I removed (not deleted!) the wp-config.php file and up loaded a new, blank, advanced-cache.php file to wp-content then uploaded the wp-config.php file once more. This resulted in the system telling me that the wp-config.php file was already there so I had no need to re-config. The write page now appears in its full glory and I can save posts once more.

In reply to: 2.1, posting and advanced-cache.phpDone that. The problem appears to be with advanced-cache.php itself, as it is sending and allowing no commands whatsoever – which means no posts, no updates and I cannot even logout of my weblog.
I presume I need to re-create this file, but does that mean upload WP from scratch and all, or can I re-create it by some other means? The file doesn’t exist in any of the WP update files that I have, nor in the original program and must be created as part of the initial start-up.

In reply to: 2.1 and MySQL 4.1.10aFixed, no. The error message – including when I log out and look at it as an ‘outsider’ – is beneath the search box in the right hand column.
My main problem is that I can no longer post anything, as the advanced-cache.php file appears to be useless, but that is in another thread.

In reply to: No WYSIWYG Editor in 2.1Not only do I not have any WYSIWYG commands, or tabs to switch between writing formats, but when I attempt to save what I have written I get the following error message:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/p/private-intellectual.de/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php:1) in /home/p/private-intellectual.de/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 275
Bascially this means that I cannot write and then save any new posts, which makes WP pretty redundant on the whole.
