Nope, my solution was not to use it.
I don’t mean that lightly either. I use JetPack which has ‘subscribe to this blog’ functions and as much as I like mailchimp I am too busy to dedicate time to formatting posts into email newsletters, I’d rather my ‘subscribers’ just get notified of my new posts.
