@marco-raaphorst I am delighted to hear that it worked for you! Thanks for your patience with this and glad I was able to help you. If you encounter any further issues then please don’t hesitate to reach out and we will be happy to help as always!
Hello?@marxgal, thanks for raising this with us.
These warnings are not uncommon when using PHP 8 and above. These should not impact Site Kit functionalitywhich it doesn’t sound like it is for you which is good to know.
I’ll also make the team aware of this and we do have a similar?GitHub issue?open. Once discussed with the team I can update you here.
Note also that encountering deprecation errors only as a console error or within your PHP logs should have no bearing on Google Ads although you can check this with the product experts at the?Google Ads Help Center.
If you do start to notice this impacting Site Kit functionality then please do let me know and I will be happy to help!
As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to?open a new support topic?if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
@bigflannel I just wanted to check back in to see if you had migrated your other sites yet and if so, did you encounter the same issues as you have previously?
@mari-lyn Thanks for confirming this. Have you checked this with your hosting provider who may be able to help you further with regards to these warnings. As mentioned above, these files with regards to Site Kit are expected and no cause for concern.
If you do notice any issues with the Site Kit plugin and it’s functionality I’d be happy to look into this but otherwise there are no concerns from our side.

Hi?@webrandinternational, thanks for getting in touch.
cURL errors are typically hosting related. If you’d like to share the following we can may be able to determine more on this:
- Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred. If using the form please also share your current hosting provider.
- Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.
Once we have the above we can advise further on this.
@phanord Thanks for sharing the information. I can see from this that you have several other plugins active on your site. It’s possible that there may be a plugin conflict causing this so to check this, you can follow our troubleshooting steps here.
Let me know how these checks go and if you have any other questions I will be happy to help with those.
Hello @phanord, thank you for sharing the screenshots of the issue you are facing. I’d be happy to look into why this is happening with your Site Kit. Please could you share the following information:
- Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.??
- Did you encounter this when first setting up Site Kit or was it working previously?
- Do you see the same issue when checking from an Incognito window?
Once you have shared the information above then I can check everything to see if anything stands out and suggest some next steps for you to take. Let me know if you have any questions.
@mari-lyn Could I just check back in with you and ask where these warnings are coming from on your side? From what you have shared those files are all normal and expected.
@marco-raaphorst Thanks for sharing! Could you please try resetting Site Kit by following the instructions here and attempt to set up the plugin once more. Do you encounter the same issue as before?
@marco-raaphorst Could you please also share with me the callback URL you get when you encounter this error and before you click on ‘Redo the plugin setup’?
Hi @mari-lyn, thanks for getting in touch and sharing these. Could I first check with you if this is having any noticeable impact on Site Kit and if you are facing any issues using the plugin? These could just be warnings and nothing to worry about but I will flag them to the team to make sure that this is the case.
If you are experiencing issues with the plugin then I will be happy to help with that. Otherwise, I will update you back here once I have checked this with the team.
