Did you ever fix this? I’m running into the exact same thing! HOwever, it only seems to throw teh cookie error on the first try. After the first try it logs in. But if I clear cookies, it erros again on first try. Really strange.

I’m trying to do same. I’ve created a horizonal menu. Parent categories have dropdowns showing the children. HOwever, I want to style the parent links so they have a little downward arrow next to them marking them as parents.

I have not found a is_parent conditional, yet.
