In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Adding Groups/Interests to SignUp at CheckoutHi,
I’d like to +1 for this functionality too. Our site also has three distinctive customer types which we’d love to let them choose their preferred interest at checkout.
Hi @nancyren
No, it’s not safe to reinstall (at least for us). I assume this problem exists for a lot of others without them realising too!
I wont be reinstalling until a fix is explicitly mentioned in changelogs.@nancyren – we’ve just had this on a new site build too, all the latest versions of WP & plugin. With the plugin active the server CPU hit 100% and page loads took 40+ seconds.
We’re having this exact problem too on a client website; just as the OP describes.

In reply to: [Trustpilot Reviews] login issues to access pluginI had the same issue @scruffy1 – I had to turn off cross-site tracking in Safari in order to get it working again.
Hi @wfadam
I think there may be some crossed wires here, the Live Traffic page has never been the problem. And this existed before upgrading to 5.5
I have deregistered WP bundled jQuery and I’m enqueuing my own version of jQuery (v3.4.1) which I wish to be included in the footer of the theme, however with Wordfence activated it gets put in the head. As soon as I deactivate Wordfence the results are as expected and the jQuery file is loaded in the footer.
Hope that makes sense,
Cheers!I’m afraid that’s not worked @wfadam
I’m having a similar issue on individual sites using Wordfence. Email notifications are turned off for:
- increased attacks
- lockouts/blocks of all kinds
- non-admin logins
However, all of these notifications are still being sent.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] When add emoji on meta or title data is not savedThis is a problem for me in Yoast 7.4.1
When an emoji is added to a title or description the entire string isn’t saved and reverts to the previously saved data. Which sounds like what the original OP was saying.

In reply to: Excess of CPU usage with sitegroundDid you ever get to the bottom of this? We have several websites that have CPU problems with Siteground and never seem to get viable answers from them.
I was having this problem and thought I’d share my fix…
I was using <!– –> commenting in my functions.php instead of /* */

In reply to: [Adminimize] “Cheatin’ huh?” Error pageI was only hiding Tags but it was preventing Shop Manager users from seeing the entire Products post type.

In reply to: [Adminimize] “Cheatin’ huh?” Error pageI’ve fixed it. I still think this is possibly a bug?
I deactivated “Tags” under the Products post type for Shop Managers user role – for some reason this was effecting the entire post type. I enabled Tags and now my Shop Managers can view the post type.

In reply to: Moving WP Multisite to localhost, redirect loopI was also getting a redirect loop and it was driving me crazy. This was the only tutorial that made sense and worked first time for moving a multisite to localhost:
