I agree “WeBuyPinball”, but I can’t force my client to buy it. It’s their choice in the end. ??
Thank you ddxv. I will look into what the community says on that as well. Like the Catch Themes say, as long as they are being attributed, which of course makes complete sense.
Thanks everyone.
Thank you for that clarification. I can now show this to the client, and all should be clear now. I appreciate your patience.
I agree and do understand, Catch Themes, but in the same token ddvx brought up a good point. If there is an option out there without upgrading that allows for the footer to be change, then it does make one wonder. Are you in fact confirming its illegal or is it just desired for users to upgrade?
There is a difference in this choice of answer, so please confirm.

“Catch Themes, this is illegal to add or just something you’d rather people not add?”<If you could confirm, Catch Themes, just curious as well. Thank you.
Alright, then I already know my client will not be interested. As there are many themes out there that you do pay for that don’t require an annual fee, but just a one time payment (usually average cost of $50) the client(s) are open to the one time. But this client already told me if there is an annual they hold no interest. Most likely they will change their theme once decided.
Thanks.
Ah, ok I was wondering why there seem to be some sort external code talk or something in that coding up there. Felt that maybe there was some sort of “other location” of a code to keep the footer there, which is fine – as you mentioned, its a free theme. I respect that. Just use to being able to change the footer on most themes these days. And clients usually don’t like the WordPress wording being down there, I have noticed as often requested to be removed. I have a feeling this will become a trend with theme developers, which is understandable. I will just have to get small business clients to understand why paying for the theme to pro may be best. Hard to convince at the moment. ??
Question though, if purchased is it a one time fee? Clients hate multiple annual bills when it comes to web stuff I’ve noticed. I’d like them to be happy.
Thanks!

In reply to: Can no longer get site — Fatal error: require() [function.require]Alright, so I followed someone else instructions on another forum, and was able to get into my FTP file manager. I deleted all files except Apache logs and Error logs, as it won’t let me delete those. But when I go to the cPanel in my GoDaddy account and try to install WordPress again, I do see the “Install WordPress” botton, but now its saying dbalentine.com is already in use, and wants a directory.
What’s the directory?

In reply to: [PayPal Responder] Pay Button Image uploadHmm, tried that just now and still didn’t work. Saved it, nothing there when I visit the page with the buttons. Tried to push the upload button again with the URL.. nothing happens what-so-ever. I guess this is just something I will have to accept the “Buy Now” content in the button. At least the default shows. Just wish I could work it with “donate” as that seems more soft and inviting than buy when doing a fund raiser. Thanks though for all your follow up. I appreciate it very much.

In reply to: [PayPal Responder] Pay Button Image uploadHi Maeve, thank you so much.
I tried all that but it isn’t working. When I click the Upload Button nothing opens. Its like the button is a dud. How do you manually create a path to an image on your desk top?
