In reply to: about “site address” setting??????Under Settings—-> General
Be sure they are the correct URL for both WP address and site address
your URL is domain.com/WPForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: redirects from inside WordPressUpdate – I found the general settings tab is where we specify this in WP. But is this a true 301 redirect or just sort a forwarding manuever?
And I cannot use cpanel, it would have to be .htaccess file changes if the general settings are NOT a 301 redirect

Additional pages
Here you can specify files or URLs which should be included in the sitemap, but do not belong to your Blog/WordPress.
For example, if your domain is https://www.foo.com and your blog is located on https://www.foo.com/blog you might want to include your homepage at https://www.foo.com* Note: If your blog is in a subdirectory and you want to add pages which are NOT in the blog directory or beneath, you MUST place your sitemap file in the root directory (Look at the “Location of your sitemap file” section on this page)!
* URL to the page: Enter the URL to the page. Examples: https://www.foo.com/index.html or https://www.foo.com/home
* Priority: Choose the priority of the page relative to the other pages. For example, your homepage might have a higher priority than your imprint.
* Last Changed: Enter the date of the last change as YYYY-MM-DD (2005-12-31 for example) (optional).Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Move wordpress site to the leftthanks –
Since posting this, it has changed a bit. I am using an theme I made using the Artisteer program. I got a partial answer on the artisteer forum.
He suggested changing the style sheet, which I have done and the site is moved all the way to the left – too far. I now realize the main (static ) static site has a bit of left padding or margin, so I need to figure out how to incorporate that.
I am also wondering if there is anyway to do it so it is NOT in teh theme code, as then if we every change themes, I need to remember (how) to do it again. But probably this is my only choice? The Static site is https://mobilefitnessmaine.com/home.htm
My working copy of the new blog is https://personaltrainersportlandme.com/

In reply to: Formatting for blank linesthnx thetoon – I’ll try that. I have in the meantime managed to do it using <p style=”padding-bottom: 20px;”> blah blah balh </p>
But there are other things that are occasionally a problem, so I will look at this plugin.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Formatting for blank linesany type of <b> code is often removed automatically – esp. when we are trying to add two blank lines for readability. Also blank paragraphs using <p> code are apparently not allowed, so that trick did not work.
Anyone know how to do this?
