In reply to: [Twenty Fourteen] featured pagesAnd .. related to this question:
is it possible to show multiple post types as featured?
Now I have to choose between posts, events (events manager), topics, pages – but I would like a mix of posts and events. Is that possible?
Thanks, Lars

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] ITunes validationFYI, my podcast is up on iTunes now:
The problem was on the server. We added SSL-certificate to the server.
Nothing was modified with the plugin.

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] ITunes validationSince the feed validates I am marking this as resolved even though I’m still not in ITunes.
I have opened a support thread with ITunes. The feed also validates in podcastsconnect.apple.com – but nothing shows up in ITunes and they are looking into it (I hope)

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] ITunes validationHi Hugh, thanks for looking into this.
FYI, my feed validates in Apple’s own Podcast Connect, and in Podba.se but not in feedvalidator.org. . I don’t really care as long as iTunes will allow it. I have submitted the feed for review.
We are having fun podcasting book reviews ??
Best, Lars

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Validation issue – feedvalidator.orgHi Hugh,
First of all, thank you for adding this plugin, which works fine with many podcast apps, apart from iTunes, it seems.
The plugin description says:
“Highly configurable and robust RSS feed designed for all podcast services and feed readers – including iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher”
Knowing that some podcast providers reject feeds from your plugin due to failed validation in feedvalidator.org would be nice to know beforehand.
That said, I still like your plugin ??

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Failing iTunes Validation+1 – This looks similiar to my feed problem.
My feed also validates in castfeedvalidator, but not in feedvalidator.org due to missing image elements… (reported in another post)

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] ITunes validationIt might be caused by omission of image metadata in the feed, says Feedvalidator.org

In reply to: [Link Library] Show link submitter in library?Well, name fields should not be editable, in my opinion.
In my setup users have to be logged in to submit links, so that will prevent bogus information.
It would be nice to show username or display name next to link as a credit for bothering to submit links…
Sounds nice, thanks Paul.

Thanks for looking into this, Paul.
My idea comes from the wordpress popular post widget settings, where there is a possibility to add custom post types, like ‘event’ and ‘topic’ – so any of the 3 post types with the highest rank shows as ‘popular posts’.
I would like just the possibility to choose ‘last of any 2-3 post types’ with the author.
I’m afraid it is over my head to code this… – thanks anyway.
