I think your solution is addressing a separate issue.

I am having the exact same problem as the first two poster expressed:

[ singlepic id=x ] is not displaying an image, but the image’s file name. This happened ONLY after I upgraded.

Solutions? Patch?

Not sure what occured, but the site is loading fine now. Maybe the server just needed time to recognize the changes.

Is this a unique problem that no one else has experienced?

I just ignore the arguments against WP being a CMS – it’s obviously evolved to be more than just a blog software despite what “purists” would like to believe, but I digress…

Have you made use of the parent and child function when creating pages and subpages? Why not have the main pages as primary sections and then just create child pages within these?

You would use the “Recent Posts” widget not rss.

I gave up trying to use that particular function with NextGen Gallery. Are you willing to use a lightbox feature instead? Shutter works without a flaw in every browser I’ve tested NG Gallery in.

Thanks for the reply – do you ever give security a second thought because of the advertisement of WP on your site? Or is it just a link without any allusions to you actually having used WP to build it?

GoDaddy charges $150 for a file restore? That is incredible to me. I can just call my host up any time and ask for one, but I make nightly back ups to avoid having to. Perhaps you should look into another host.
