I tried that but I’m not really sure where to edit it. I’m new to wordpress and taking html/css classes right now.

Any ideas where I would change the color in the stylesheet?

in the plugin none of the css files are listed as active.

The wierd thing is that the functions.php file didn’t have any spaces on line 9. I tried your first suggestion, but nothing.
