Your review is not appropriate, as you mistake the numbers.

Even a 100% deliverability rate can mean a 0% open rate. 30% open rate is very good, as well as 3% click rate is very good. These are typical numbers for newsletters.

Also, the QWP seems to be backup as well… my backups just get bigger and bigger with every run…

Just tried to “migrate” a 50GB (which could be much smaller) backup to another server
–> the NAS stopped responding because of out of memory (64?GB total)

(to be clear, I’m always referring to self-sending, for sending service the pricing might be okay, but that is not what we wanted Mailpoet for)

But for new customers, I probably just recommend Mailchimp, Cleverreach … directly, as the pricing is similar than and maintenance for WP reduced …

Or Sendy for self-sending … (most people can spare the nice mail editor, when saving a lot of money).

One of the major reasons to use Mailpoet was a good mix of pricing and quality (for self-sending).

For the 20x: I just used your calculator to get pricing for 20,000 subscribers, which is 115€/month (paid yearly) = 1380€/year → the freelancer license gives me 4 sites → ~60€/year → 1380 / 60 = ~20 → with 4 license each 20,000 subscribers → 5500€/year.

Not a very accurate calculation, but I think it very good shows how expensive Mailpoet got.

Thanks to this ticket, the problem was: existing users are unsubscribed by default…

It would be great if Mailpoet could improve on this. This was quite invisible. (see my comment over at Github)

I have a similar problem. Very annoying.

The mail get scheduled, when changing a users’ role, but never sent.

We’ve this problem since we switch from Caldera Forms to Ninja Forms (about ~ 6 months ago).

For me, this is still a major pain point working with Ninja Forms. (Another one the omnipresent, very intrusive, but functionless, speech bubble at the top ??

Maybe it was an “ok” UI decision, but maybe not a good UX decision as well.
I think the whole UI is nice, but generally not very intuitive. Too many “hidden” features, slide effects…

Btw. how is this mobile friendly anyway? ?? *cough*

I just had a look, it is still the theme ??

But: it is not this Airi, it is another one from LA Themes. I didn’t noticed (it’s a customer site which maintenance I just took over.)

Even with the preloader disabled, the theme add/removes a class “site-loading” which is doing an “ease-in-out” effect.

I totally agree with you. Saturday Drive “drove” a very bad strategy…
and I avoided trying Ninja Forms in the first, because of their strategy ??

I also tried Formidable Forms, but really wasn’t satisfied.

Then, a customer of mine “forced” me to use Ninja Forms (because of the upcoming migrator). And I have to admit, that it works great so far.

I can only second this: … should’ve done it sooner ??

@velasko Caldera Forms is officially retired.

Personally I would recommend trying Ninja Forms.
