In reply to: [2MB Autocode] Plugin installed itself AND activated itself on my siteYou might be right. I’ve spotted something in WP GDPR Compliance. Will have to test this first.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Stop fixing what is not broken …I’m not a friend of Gutenberg too, but if you don’t want change, you shouldn’t use an evolving software like WordPress at all… Even bugfix releases could break your site and SEO. And you really think switching to Blogger would have no impact on yoir content at all?
My advice: use some never changing static template for writing your blog. So it will always stay the same and not influence your experience…
Hello,
I don’t understand why it is not possible?
The export includes all this data, so why can’t I import it again?
Any response on this would be great.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] “Private” lists?Yep, it somehow is.
We sell software licenses and use the newsletter tool for follow ups (software updates, license informations…). This is much easier than writing our own tool for this purpuse.
Okay, but then there maybe is a bug. When a user selects “unsubscribed”, all list checkboxes are unchecked -> so the user won’t be in any list anymore.

In reply to: [Before After Image Slider Lite] Incorporate into galleriesI’m still unsure, but try to use a smaller width, like 49%. Generally b/a sliders should be 2 in a row then.
For the standard gallery: disable the theme feature if possible ??

In reply to: [Before After Image Slider Lite] Incorporate into galleriesHello acp73,
No, there is no way to use it with the internal gallery. Can you describe the feature in more detail?
The drag/slide idea is a great idea and we already have this on our road map. But this will propably still need a lot of time, as want to change our plugin “business” model first.
Using Envato we can’t really generate a significant income with our WordPress plugins. So one part of the plan is to provide our pro versions for free here and let users directly contribute via Github and just donate/ sponsor if they want…
But still needs time for the transition.(Instead of 900px I recommend to use a variable value, i.e. 80% to have better support for smaller displays)
First quess: missing index on “status” and “deleted_at”.
@joshjcobb Can you try adding an index and check again?
ALTER TABLE example_mailpoet_subscribers ADD INDEX status ("status"), ADD INDEX deleted_at ("deleted_at");

Ah, I maybe know what you mean.
I had an issue, when I created a “test” consent with this plugin. Even, when I disabled the consens. The cookie bar of this plugin was still shown.
Had to delete the create consens in the database to “solve” this issue.

From what I see, the shown cookie bar is from another plugin (catapult-cookie-bar?)

In reply to: [EU Cookie Law for GDPR/CCPA] Not working with WP Fastest CacheSetting a cookie to store the information that user still hasn’t decided to use cookies ??
You may configure WP Fastest to not cache, if the euCookie is set. But I want caching for users…
I think a solution should look something like this:
* The banner should work with JavaScript only, to be caching compatible
* Autoblocked/ manually blocked content should work with JavaScript as much as possible
* Everything else -> exclude from cache (manually)(or maybe caching plugins should be able to produce different caches dependent on i.e. cookie status)
I think it is just not possible to develop a solution which works out-of-the-box for every case.
In our case, we don’t use the plugin to block any content, but just to show the banner. So a pure JavaScript solution would be fine for this.
