Change the theme to Twenty Sixteen on the https://test.veridio.ro and is working with 1.8.1. So it seems to be a theme bug but I don’t know how to describe it considering the teme is working with Polylang 1.7.12 and fail to work with 1.8.1!

Since there were the same and the text domain also I didn’t notice any change.
I tried to erase all the strings, but I didn’t succeded (trying to re-import them again, when the string table would be “empty”).

Since I didn’t succeded, I abandoned the ideea of a child theme an installed a simple custom css plugin that helped me customize the theme ??

Yes, actually I exported the customizer fields and imported them in the child’s customizer fields.
