In reply to: Adjust phone number link color in widget@stevedata, thanks for your suggestion. However, still no luck. I just added as CSS. Do I need to also add as a class to the html?

In reply to: Adjust phone number link color in widget@t-p Thanks for the suggestion. However, I am the developer and customized the theme from Monochrome Pro by Studio Press Genesis. I’ve brought this question to several Genesis forums and so far no one has a workable answer. Thought I’d try here as another resource.
So far, I’ve tried adding a class in CSS and corresponded it to the html. No luck.
I’ve also tried creating a CSS a.before-header property and then an link to the html. Again no luck.
Any thoughts anyone?

In reply to: Nav Menu bumping to second rowYou are right. I should be using the StudioPress support, however, as I mentioned, I posted there first and have not received help other than to suggest I check Chrome’s Inspect. I have done this and have played with the various adjustments, according to the classes/elements listed, however have not had any luck. Thus I am coming to forums, because this is where I learn the most.
I’ll fill you in on what I’ve previously attempted, just so it doesn’t look like I’m asking for a handout. I tried adjusting the padding in nav-menu. I also tried adjusting the padding in nav-menu a for the 1023 px under Media Query. Neither worked. I have the .header-image set to the exact size of the header with no padding.
Am I looking in the wrong places perhaps?

In reply to: Exporting/Importing MediaFollow up: I finally used the plugin Go Live and that succeeded in doing the search/replace that I needed. It was simple, direct and got the job done.

In reply to: Exporting/Importing MediaThanks @sewmyheadon for your helpful advice. I’ve been working on things and here’s where I now stand. All her images are uploaded to her ftp but not showing in her Media Library, as is WordPress policy (images need to be uploaded from Library for that). That’s okay, we don’t really need to see them.
However, as you mentioned, we still have the two different image paths:
one: https://www.username.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/
and the other: https://www.username.net/wp-content/uploads/
I have done multiple search/replace actions from Better Search Replace and also Search Replace plugins. I ask them to search for the first portion of path listed above (using the real url reference name) and then to replace it with the second listed above. Neither plugin seems to be making the replacement, although I’m likely doing something wrong.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] How to center submit button@rytechguy, my mistake was that I used a Custom HTML widget to hold my Mailchimp code. In correcting it, I loaded the Mailchimp Signup Form plugin and used that as a widget to hold the code. That, together with the CSS coding for my Front Page and Footer, enabled the button to be centered. For the Front Page CSS, I went into CSS/style-front.css and verified the page was set at text-align: center; In my case it was Front-Page-7.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] How to center submit buttonNevermind, figured it out. Was inserting text into Custom HTML widget instead of Mailchimp Signup Form widget. Some days I’m a little slow!
I’ve having this issue as well. If we’re not able to delete and re-subscribe and email, how can we test our setup?

In reply to: Mail Chimp, Using theme CSS@jcastaneda, I used code provided by Mailchimp and then inserted it as html text in a widget.
By using Mailchimp’s Design It function, I was able to get it pretty close to my css, however not completely (i.e. border around the input box and choice of font). However, this messing around seems like reinventing the wheel and it would be nice if it would simply pull from my css.
@jaycbrf, not sure I understand how to redefine the mailchimp classes. I’m not finding mailchimp in my css? Is this something I need to add?

In reply to: Unwanted code added to textGrrrr. Still? This past month I’ve been rebuilding my site after having completely deleting and reloading it.
I am using WordFence (free version) and scan every few hours. It’s been giving me a clean slate for the past 2-3 weeks. Not so?
