    That specific URL does in fact work, ironically.

    I usually log into my websites through simply typing the name of the site and /wp-admin and letting WordPress redirect to the correct url.

    In this case, typing celynbooks.com/wp-admin redirects to;
    https://thgraphicdesigns.com/celynbooks/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fcelynbooks.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    Which has the login issue.

    However, going to;

    https://thgraphicdesigns.com/celynbooks/wp-login.php

    Works just fine! Fancy that. Hope it is a permanent fix.
    But, if somebody could give a solution to the issue for future people who may have this issue that would be great though. ??

    Thank-you for your reply, but I’m afraid that did not solve my problem.

    First I followed the heading “Pointing your home site’s URL to a subdirectory” at the bottom and had no success. I did have to make my own .htaccess file for that though, so there’s a potential problem.

    Secondly, I followed the heading “Using a pre-existing subdirectory install” and got stuck on step 6 (logging back in). I get a Internal Server error (500) and am now locked out of my WordPress application.

    I’m not sure if the “Pointing your home site’s URL to a subdirectory” part is the solution I’m looking for however. I do not want to redirect hollandartworks.com traffic to celynbooks.com. I just want to clean up the URL for celynbooks.

    Thanks again, but need more help!
