@vsplace any of the settings work the same, I included all of them because some hosts disable one but not the other

In reply to: wp-cron.php on a Secure Domaindoes your WordPress Address in Settings > General have the “https”? also you can manually set these in wp-config.php by adding:
define('WP_HOME', 'https://mysite.com');
define('WP_SITEURL', 'https://mysite.com');
They all work the same, I just included all of them because some hosts disable one but not the other.

Ask him to login to Gravatar.com with the email he used on your website and remove the URL he has in his “My Links” section of his profile.

In reply to: How to control my site's "description" in google?The way Google does descriptions is different than that, When you search for something in Google the “description” is the sentences and phrases on that page that most likely hold what you are looking for. More than likely they can’t be changed.
