In reply to: Ultimate TinyMCE toolbar not showing upThanks again for your help here, Josh. >8>) To answer your question… Well… As I had said, I don’t have any of Ultimate TinyMCE’s features activated on row 1. BUT, it seems that pretty much all of row 1 is populated by default. So, there doesn’t appear to be any way to free up so much as 1 slot on row 1, unless i’m missing something…
So… 4 of the short code buttons for my theme + 4 of the short code buttons for my WP Socializer plugin + 1 short code button for the PHP Snippets plugin + 1 button for my Easy Columns plugin are “stuck” on the first line. So, there are 10 buttons (4 from my theme + 6 from 3 different plugins), which extend beyond where row 1 should end…
So, what would you suggest, Josh?
It’s a shame this has to happen. I mean, it’s still usable, but it’s a pain in the a$$. I wish the author would make a new version of the plugin with drag n drop capability…

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Installing WordPress In Root With Existing HTML Site?Hey, thanks a lot for the info, New Nine. I really appreciate it! >8>)
So… If I go ahead and continue developing WordPress in the sub directory, i’ll be able to completely MOVE the whole installation to my root (not just point my home site’s URL to the sub directory) without any problems?
Thanks again, brother!

In reply to: Ultimate TinyMCE toolbar not showing upThanks Josh. Yeah, that’s the thing, bro… I have all of the buttons in row 1 deactivated, but the buttons are still spilling over. It really sucks that this has to happen, because I love the Ultimate Tinymce plugin and I would hate to not be able to use it, because of this. How would I go about recoding the other plugins?

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Ultimate TinyMCE toolbar not showing upNot trying to hijack this thread, but the problem i’m having with this plugin is, 4 of the short code buttons for my theme, 4 of the short code buttons for my WP Socializer plugin and 1 short code button for the PHP Snippets plugin are “stuck” on the first line and there doesn’t seem to be any way to move them to other lines. So, when i’m in visual mode it makes the content area really wide and impossible to use. Any ideas how to fix that?

In reply to: Ultimate TinyMCE toolbar not showing upThanks Josh. I was able to get it working, though. As it turns out I just had the editor in HTML view instead of visual… lol DOH!
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Ultimate TinyMCE toolbar not showing upI just installed this plugin and it won’t display for me either no matter what I try. I’m guessing it’s something in my theme that’s not liking it…
Has anyone found a solution for this yet?

In reply to: .php Extension On Category Pages? For instance, here is what the URL looks like when I click on a category:
I realize that once I click on a post within the category the URL is then complete ie;
https://www.domainname/Name_Of_Blog/category/headline/topic.php
But… Shouldn’t the category pages themselves have an extension, so they’re “indexable” search engine friendly as well, etc?
Any help or suggestions anyone?

In reply to: Run WP From Its Own Directory And Root SimultaneouslyThanks, Esmi. I had already read that, but i’m a little concerned/confused about what will happen to my blog’s current URL if I decide to do that, because the name of my blog is the same as the URL, etc. For instance, right now my blog’s URL is “domainname/Name_Of_Blog”. So… If I were to change my main site’s index page to point at WordPress, what would happen to my blog’s index page and the “Name_Of_Blog” part of the URL? Would there be any way to still keep my blog’s current file path exactly the way it is, whether by 301 redirects or some other means?
Please pardon my ignorance. This particular question confuses the hell out of me… lol
Thanks again.

In reply to: Elegant Themes "Chameleon" Theme Custom Dropdown MenusErrr… Their themes are available for free download all over the place, though. Just as this one was… My first thought before posting my question here was to go to Elegant Theme’s support forum, but you have to be a paid member to even view their forum apparently…
So… Does anyone have any help or suggestions for me on this?
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: Manual Install of Theme not workingAre you trying to extract/install directly from the zip file or are you extracting the theme’s directory first?
