Is there a way to save different backups remotely than stored on the server locally?

Here is some more typing that might help or confuse you more.

I want to save backups remotely and NOT delete them, until scheduled.
I do not want to keep these same files on the server.

Updraftplus should only save ONE or two backups stored on the server.
So a different schedule for local backups and offsite backups.

You stated “UpdraftPlus backup should not be included in the backup itself”
I know that is what I am attempting to reduce.
If you think I am referring to updraftplus creating backups with its updraftplus backups in them. I am not.
This is a server backup. Thus all files are backed up.
The server is including updraftplus backups in the server backup. I want less updraftplus backups to remain on the server.

follow up.
I am using an import plugin to import posts from an external source. The plugin was set to save new posts as drafts when no image was included with the post. Some how my host disabled this function. No images were downloaded. When I installed this plugin, hosting support enabled this. I assume that somehow it was disabled and now no images.
This is the reason I discovered that my categories show when empty as most of my posts were changed to drafts.

For some reason wp-cron was disabled. (new hosting company we are trying out.)
Now we are back to waiting on facebook to update or you to finish your API..

yes it seems that is the issue and no it does not seem to be that issue, unless I am setting up wrong.
I have set up twice now.
As far as I can see I am have set the user who authorizes plugin is owner of the Facebook app and is the admin of the page or group at the time of authorization. Still it does not post as the “page name”.
I am logged in as the user of the facebook account when I do all this.

To further complicate the issue. The plugin is not automatically posting.
Queried, yes. Posting no.

Limit autoposting speed – Recommended for busy sites with a lot of new posts.
one post per day is selected.

What to do with the rest of the posts if there are more posts then daily limit?
