In reply to: [GN Publisher: Google News Compatible RSS Feeds] No articles in this sectionHey Chris,
I just wanted to provide you with an update. I did contact the Publishing Center Support Group and they suggested a fix that was implemented but I believed it to be unrelated to the core issue anyhow.I followed up with them with detailed steps I’ve taken and also have posted those steps in the community if you’re curious: https://support.google.com/news/publisher-center/thread/188168625?hl=en
Myself and my server admin have been going over this problem for the past couple of days and at this point can only speculate that it is a problem on Google’s end with our domain.
Thanks again for your help!

In reply to: [GN Publisher: Google News Compatible RSS Feeds] No articles in this sectionThanks for the quick response! Yes, that is the exact URL. I do see this message at the bottom of the page if that is what you’re referring to: <!– last GN Pub feeds fetch (not specifically this feed): has not fetched –>
I’m not sure why it would say not fetched as I have hit the save button as well as the refresh button multiple times (see link). https://freeimage.host/i/pc.y2iohX
I even tested the link in Search Console and the results came back that it’s available to Google. So it shouldn’t be a firewall-related issue.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Crawler Status Shows 1969 Year, no pages crawledWow… I wouldn’t have thought it possible either. Easy Apache says that it was installed but when I checked the phpinfo file you’re right it wasn’t there. So I reinstalled, and now have the correct date. Something must’ve been corrupted I guess. Thanks so much for help!! The crawler is working great now ??

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Crawler Status Shows 1969 Year, no pages crawledCurrently running PHP 8. I tried 7.4 as well and still no luck. Accessing that file in browser generated a 500 error code. When I checked the log file this is what was said.
[23-Oct-2021 01:25:44 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in /public_html/phptester.php:2
Stack trace:
#0 {main}
thrown in /public_html/phptester.php on line 2I really appreciate the help. This is actually a client’s site of mine so I wouldn’t feel comfortable generating any log in information. Plugin works great otherwise and I would love to have the crawler working but if it can’t be resolved through troubleshooting perhaps it might work later down the road with an update.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Crawler Status Shows 1969 Year, no pages crawledI tried your suggestion and the results remain the same. I even took out the custom sitemap URL and deactivated and reactivated the plugin. I will say that on occasion when I hit the manual button I get a critical error message. Refreshing the page however does reload just fine. The error log shows this message “PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Undefined constant “LiteSpeed\CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER” in in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/litespeed-cache/src/crawler.cls.php:673. Do you think I might need to verify or install particular PHP extension?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Crawler Status Shows 1969 Year, no pages crawledReport # is QQNQXVCB. When clicking the manual button 2 to 3 times the Watch Status date remains the same. If I delete the meta files and hit the manual button those files aren’t regenerated. Seems to only create the files when the crawler is scheduled to run.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] New order email notification settings is not savingCame here with the same problem. Thanking you for the quick fix!!
Responding to your post in the Fix thread… Have you tried uploading the zip file through the WordPress plugin uploader and not FTP? it really shouldn’t make any difference but for me, for some strange reason, I did not encounter my error any more “A_NextGen_Pro_Plus_Upgrade_Page does not exist.”
Is it possible to push another plugin update to add PHP 7.2.0RC6? Would much rather deal with a shortcode in the page than have to mess around in MultiPHP Manager for my various sites. I know it just came out yesterday, but hopefully, the Cpanel team will package 7.2.0 soon
Are you sure that PHP 5.6 is activated? There are a few plugins you can install to check the current php version, or create a phpinfo file on your server and see there. Perhaps your htaccess file is still forcing php 7?
I’m running a bunch of sites with NextGen Galleries on 7.2.0RC6 and have the issue. The weird thing is I didn’t have a problem with it prior to updating to the latest WordPress version.
I believe PHP 7.2 was released today, however I use cpanel / WHM and it doesn’t appear that they have it packaged yet. Not sure if it is fixed with this new release.

In reply to: [DB Cache Reloaded Fix] Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘new’ (T_NEW)This plugin has started giving me problems on some on my very old sites with an http 500 error. My solution was to delete the db-cache-reloaded-fix plugin folder and as well as a db.php file (and if there is also a db.ini file) in the wp-content directory.

In reply to: [Mail Bank - #1 Mail SMTP Plugin for WordPress] LATEST update errorsJust wanted to confirm that my wordpress no longer white screens on post update / plugin install etc. on 3.0.9. Appreciate the fast response!

In reply to: [Mail Bank - #1 Mail SMTP Plugin for WordPress] LATEST update errorsWith version 3.0.8 I was getting white screen of death on post updates & activating plugins. I rolled back to 3.0.7 and now everything is working fine. I did increase PHP memory limit to no effect before. I would say there are definitely some issues with the latest version for certain set ups.
