In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderCool, I just checked. It seems some new unexpected behaviour was introduced. My findings:
– On full screen (full menu), menu is at the top but doesn’t stay fixed at the top. Scrolling down loses the menu. It reappears when scrolling down to beneath the header but especially on the landing page, that’s unexpected.
– On medium screen (hamburger menu), the menu appears somewhere at the bottom of the header as you said. Which works but it’s confusing, especially on the landing page, where one needs to scroll down in order to find the menu.
– The menus themselves work well now though.Settings used:
– Options to fix the menu at the top and to move the menu to the top are both selected.
– Breakpoint slider is about halfway.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderFor now I’ve put the breakpoint slider all the way left because the header layout made my site unusable on Firefox and to some lesser extent, other browsers as well. If you wanna see what it looked like, let me know and I’ll up the slider for you to see.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderHeya Oliver,
The menu itself works as expected now but it does mess up the header layout on large screens. This is most obvious in Firefox for some reason (screen mostly black, scroll down for content) but happens to some extent in other browsers as well (black bar over the top half of header image).

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderNo pressure, just curious… Any progress on this request? ??

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderYes – definitely progress!!! I agree option 2 is probably better for intermediate screen (or window) sizes.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderOnly when I make a large screen smaller now until the mobile menu appears, when clicking the hamburger menu the normal menu appears underneath it but looking a bit off. The menu items don’t expand to show the items of the level below for instance.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderRight! Plugins didn’t show an update before but got one now. And it works ??

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderThat’s weird, I can only place the slider at the very left, exact middle and very right. And I’ve tested on a couple of browsers now (Chrome, Opera, Firefox), and none of them look different when I move the slider. I’ve tried deleting anything header-related in style.css (there’s only something in it now that modifies padding and margin in the footer area). I’ve also deleted the header.php I had in the twenty-seventeen child theme I’m using. Not sure what else I can test to see if it makes a difference?

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderOh wait, the menu didn’t disappear, it was just hidden behind the wordpress toolbar, so visitors still see it. But it doesn’t seem to make a difference where I put the slider.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderHi Oliver,
I’ve tested the slider but there’s some odd stuff going on. On small screens I don’t see any change in behaviour no matter where I position the slider (only a couple of positions possible, is that right?). But on large PC screen, when I make the browser window sufficiently small, the menu disappears altogether, without a mobile menu appearing.
Kind regards,

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderI’m not in a hurry. My site is functional as it is, it would just look better on tablets with this option.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Seventeen] Feature Request – responsiveness sliderWow, that’s much more complicated than I thought it would be. It’s awesome you’re willing to take on the challenge.

In reply to: [Flexy Breadcrumb] Center breadcrumb@presstigers I’ve not heard from the UI team but for now I’ve decided to move the breadcrumbs to the footer. Somehow I’ve managed to make it stick to the column width there, so it looks a lot better now. Thank you! I’m happy with the current looks.
