I agree with podz. But… you raise an interesting point. There may be a growing need for “enterprise-level” functionality. You might want to ask others at WP if what you have in mind has been brought forward by webmasternews. It’s a huge blogsite, and if anyone is going to need to moderate posts, it would be them.
But for most users… yup, I agree with podz. Just ask your users to notify you as they make their posts. ??
Or, have someone tweak the code. It would be easy to insert a “superadmin” email notification on the publish routine. You might want to refer to WP’s guidelines to contributing hacks, if this is the route you go.
