I’ve completely removed all my MySQL tables, and reloaded all the wordpress files to my server. On step 2 of the installation it asks you to specify the web address of the wordpress installation:
What is the web address of your WordPress installation? (We probably guessed it for you correctly.)
(already filled in): https://www.gaugerfamily.com
My website is:
https://www.gaugerfamily.com
Wordpress is installed inside the directory:
https://www.gaugerfamily.com/wordpress/
Which to I choose?

I’m not sure how I accessed the database. I just guessed at the MySQL login info based on some of the posts on this forum. I’ll look into the use of “phpMyAdmin” – can you tell me a little about it?

Tried running upgrade.php. Seemed to work except I think I might have a permissions issue. This error displayed:
Database error: [Access denied for user: ‘gauger@localhost’ to database ‘gauger’]
appears dozens of times. Can I change the MySQL database permissions (if that is the problem) from my FTP client or do I need to speak with my hosting company?
