I agree that the difference is slight, but I want to make sure the website is a crisp as possible. If you zoom in slightly on the text, you can see that it is more clear on the originals.

All of the images in the sliders are slightly blurry for me.

I’m using Google Chrome, a Dell Inspiron, resolution of screen is 1920 x 1080 x 59 hertz.

Wow, it definitely looks a lot better for you. I’m wondering if perhaps my screen is different?

Either way, I want to make sure that all the settings I’m using are correct.

Is the optimum size for all images and sliders 2000 x 1000 px like I have read? (Right now some of the sliders are 1640 x 856.)

Actually, it is not that slider, but the slider lower down on the home page that displays various books.

However, even the direct link to the picture (which you linked above of the first slider on the page) looks much clearer than when it is used in the slider.
