Thanks Jeremy I think this is resolved now.
I think my mistake was that I was copying my previous newsletter and changing the text every time, rather than creating a new email from scratch.
Hi, the update via a zip file had no impact ??
I left it for a couple of weeks, hoping the problem would sort itself out, but no such luck.
Any other tips to fix it?
If I reinstall, should I backup my mailing list first or is that not a problem?

In reply to: Gallery block displays images but I need zoom in/out tooHey Forum, turns out the lightbox plugin I used for galleries can’t do what I want (as per the title, the ability to zoom in on big images).
I’ve also discovered that WordPress has created a new block that provides a native gallery lightbox. Has anyone used that and is there a plugin out there which extends it?
Thanks for the info, Johannes.

In reply to: Does a dashboard style plugin exist which allows ranking?Just thinking out loud, is this similar to a news feed front page with columns?

In reply to: Does a dashboard style plugin exist which allows ranking? Thanks for the suggestion. It’s seriously difficult to nail down what the whole WordPress plugin landscape actually looks like, but I’m slowly getting the idea. In that search result you gave, there are solutions for specific types of website categorised by business sector requirements, e.g. staff & HR, or location-based company directories.
And I think the whole WP plugin landscape is oriented that way. There are many plugins providing specific website functionality targeted at specific sectors.
My problem is that my requirement is really niche, so I can hardly expect to find a suitable plugin, unless it happens to provide the functionality in a really generic way where any business from any sector could use it on their data for their own wildly diverse purposes.
Doesn’t seem likely that anyone’s going to figure it’s worth coding up a plugin to generically place data items on a dashboard with configurable headings, colours configured according to the data and even the relative positions configured by the data.

In reply to: Links using embeds-block make for slow pagesI see. I suppose the advantage of this approach is apparent when the third party site is unavailable or changed: the iframe can just default to a 404 error with no further complexity.
On the downside, despite the hidden potential for it and inherent assumptions in the programming about what’s desired, the embeds block appears to offer no configuration options, which would be really useful.

In reply to: Links using embeds-block make for slow pagesThanks James. Please ignore the URL I cut & pasted – I realised that this discussion board thread is using the WordPress editor so I tried pasting in a link from my blog. Then I was unable to delete it. It looks like someone stepped in and tidied it up behind the scenes, but I was only interested to see whether it would produce an iframe or not.
Can you expand on what else might happen when you use an iframe? As far as I knew, every iframe embeds a whole HTML page from the link. I’ve never seen anything else. And these are what cause a browser to take so long loading a page with lots of them, hence the need to build a card instead, containing the link, the header image, the title and a snippet.

Thanks James but it’s exactly this embeds block that I’m trying to find an alternative for, because of the iframe performance issue. When this page is full of iframes, it will take ages to load. I like the functionality when it’s just one iframe, but I have dozens that I want to put on one page.- This reply was modified 8 months, 2 weeks ago by Steven Stern (sterndata).
It does help, thanks – I can now see via schema.org that my About page has the AboutPage schema built in, but why doesn’t that show up in the SEO column on the WP page listing, as all other pages have a schema shown? Not a big deal, but it would have saved time.
In the schema.org validator output, what is the “hentry”? It has a value for “entry-content” that I need to tweak (it is showing good info, but it’s doubled) but I have no idea where the info is coming from. Is it also under RankMath control?
No need to apologise, your plugin is fantastic. Anyway, I already have details in Local SEO, everything except street address, which I entered and then I refreshed the cache, but the rich result test still shows nothing.
It certainly shows an article schema for the home page, but nothing for the About page.
Also, in my WP Page listing, my About page in the SEO column has “schema: off”. All other pages have “schema: article”. That is my chosen default, but why nothing for the About page?
Thanks for responding. I get the same error.
I even get it when I use plugin troubleshooting to disable all other plugins.

In reply to: [WP Visitor Statistics (Real Time Traffic)] wmcAction=wmcTrackHmm, I guess I must have installed it briefly at some point but I don’t remember doing it. What surprised me is that Google was interested in the URL at all. Do you have a “noindex, nofollow” rule set on it? Because then the search bots should ignore whatever the link is.
