Can you provide a debugging interval. Maybe an hour in the later evening with a two day in advanced notification and I will try to have a look.

Nothing I’m currently aware of. If you could reactivate the plugin I would have a look about potential issues.

I tried to reproduce the issue in my development environment but wasn’t able to do it. I also had a look at other sites with the plugin installed but that also seems to work. My guess is that it might be a caching issue but I need an environment to debug it.

This is mostly related to your server configuration. The related MP3 file https://welstech.blob.core.windows.net/audio/WELSTech_Episode_661.mp3 doesn’t provide the Content-Disposition "attachment" which leads to the strange browser behaviour. If you need some insight for your Apache or NginX configuration please have a look at this thread:

In your case you should be fine using “Publisher” to select the Episode you want to embed. Also the common use case would be to use the template embed with the Publisher.

You have to adapt the player template in order to hide the download tab. Go to Settings > Podlove Web Player > Templates > Default and remove

        <tab-trigger tab="files">
          <icon type="download"></icon>
        </tab-trigger>

as well as

   <tab name="files">
      <tab-files></tab-files>
    </tab>

I’ve also bumped the Web Player to 5.5 so my guess is that you see a cached version. Right now it seems to work.
