I mean that if I set “Custom Product Pages” to “yes” then I don’t see the single product details when I click on a product in the catalogue.

No, I have not created any custom layouts. Do I need to? The default layout works fine on the large screen but does not display on the small screen.

Be nice to have a “minimum role” selection built into the plugin settings, but appreciate it wouldn’t be priority. Or maybe having ‘edit_others_posts’ in that file would cover it anyway?

Nope, doesn’t quite work – only one or the other can see it. I tried swapping the roles in the two lines and whichever role is in the second line gets to see the menu.

Thanks, that works but then admin can’t see it. Can I have both ‘editor’ and ‘administrator’? I tried it but it didn’t work.

I have no idea – is that what should be happening? I thought WP created 3 or 4 versions, not 10 or 11! Does the plugin tell media uploader to make further versions?

My client has 4,000 products, some with several product images, so the number of images on the server is heading towards a quarter of a miliion!

Thanks Vark, but unfortunately the theme (Primashop) is an integral part of the WP-Ecommerce shop so changing it just breaks the whole thing. Appreciate your help though.

In an ideal world it would have an “accordian” menu like the competitor plugin here https://demo.enigmaweb.com.au/wp-catalogue/ I tried the Enigma plugin but it’s nowhere near as good as this one – apart from the category menu …. ??
