In reply to: [Ultimate Product Catalog] Remove Option to Sort by PriceGreat, look forward to it. Makes sense to have that option if there is already an option not to display the price ??

In reply to: [Ultimate Product Catalog] Mysterious StylingPerfect – thanks again.
Thanks Rustaurius, no offense intended! I think it would be a very useful feature, especially for catalogues like my client’s which will have dozens of categories and hundreds of products.

In reply to: [Ultimate Product Catalog] Height of Product Description DivPerfect. Thanks.
Aha! I have just bought and configured this plugin and I note the same thing. As you say, sub-categories are useless unless they sit under their respective categories.
I hope there’s an easy fix for this!

In reply to: [Black Studio TinyMCE Widget] Can't See Save Button Any MoreHi Marco, I have the problem with both FF and Safari. I’m on a Mac running Lion. After I posted I wondered what would happen if I zoomed out my display and sure enough the rest of the page is there and I can use the Save button (and edit the rest of the content) but with everything very small! Does that make sense? Can I send screenshots?
Interesting – the Tags widget displays your categories fine but I can’t see options in the standard WP ‘Categories’ widget to select your categories. What am I missing here?

In reply to: [EZ Staff List] Paragraphs – formatting.OK, solved it myself by putting <p> tags around the paras. Sorry to bother you.
Oh well I guess that’s my gift to the community then Niaz, seeing as I paid you to code it!
Yes, you’ll get the manual payment option when you buy the “pro” version (WpShopcart) – I don’t have a problem with paying for that – but there will be no merchant notification email for manual payment orders. Strange but true … ??
dwbone, the last post from Niaz in that link you added in your post above pretty much answers your question. There is no ‘setting’ as such, just a cc’d copy of the PayPal customer ‘notification’ email. This last point is important as you will not get the notification for an order using the manual payment option. In my view this is a fundamental shortcoming of the plugin because there is no point in accepting orders if you (as the merchant, or site owner) don’t know about them! I argued long and hard with Niaz about this but in the end I gave him some money to create this functionality for me as I needed to get my client’s store up and running. You will no doubt have to do the same if you want merchant email notification for manual payment orders.
I get customer emails fine if I create an order myself so unlikely to be anything to do with hosting.
Klaconcepts – did you resolve this? I am not getting a ‘site owner’ email for PayPal orders either, just the one from PayPal itself.
Thanks for sorting this out for me Niaz.
Works fine for me so far – you can see here https://www.wairarapawebsites.com/teri-dyes/store/
