Hi,
Based on your screenshot, it looks like you are using PHP 8.4, which may not be compatible. Please try switching to PHP 7.4 to 8.1.
If you are using the Challan Pro version, we are unable to provide support here due to forum guidelines. This could also be a site-specific issue. For further assistance, please contact our technical support team at webappick.com/contact.
Hi @przemokrzak,
Sorry for the inconvenience.A critical error may be caused by conflicts with other plugins, a PHP version issue, or missing dependencies. Please try the following steps:
- Check for conflicts – Temporarily disable other plugins and test again.
- Update PHP version – Ensure your server runs PHP 7.4 to 8.1, as these are compatible with Challan.
- Enable/Disable debugging – Go to Challan Settings > check the “Enable Debug Mode” option – https://prnt.sc/w9gQR46sxvlW.
- Reinstall the plugin – Deactivate, delete, and reinstall Challan to ensure no corrupted files.
If the issue persists, please let us know.
Hi! Thanks for updating the plugin and checking the invoice settings.
Since you’re using VikBooking, which also generates invoices, it might be interfering with Challan’s invoice numbering. Some booking plugins create their own invoice numbers, which could cause gaps or conflicts.
To check if VikBooking is affecting the sequence, try disabling it temporarily and then generating a new order with Challan. If the invoice numbers remain consecutive, then VikBooking is likely the cause.
Let us know how it goes!
Hi @manuds33,
Thanks for your support and for using our plugin. The issue with non-consecutive invoice numbers might be site-specific. Please check which version of Challan you are currently using.
Additionally, verify the invoice number settings by navigating to:
Challan Settings > Order Settings > Next Invoice No.You can refer to this screenshot for guidance:

Also, check if you have any other plugins affecting order processing. If the issue persists, please let us know!

In reply to: [Challan - PDF Invoice & Packing Slip for WooCommerce] How to previewHi @muzammilshaikh,
Thank you for reaching out!
To preview the invoice online without downloading every time, follow these steps:
Go to Challan Settings > Order Settings > Invoice Download As > Select “Open in new tab” > Save Changes.
Try previewing again. If it still downloads instead of opening in a new tab, it may be a browser-related issue. Try using a different browser or disabling any extensions that might be forcing downloads.
Let us know if you need further assistance!

- Verify Upload – Ensure the logo is correctly uploaded in wp-content/uploads/.
- Check File Permissions – Set folder permissions to 755 or 775 if needed.
- Try a Different Template – Switch to another invoice template to test.
If the issue persists, please let us know.
