I agree with you on the update issue. But I maintain a managed environment where I manage all the updates for my clients myself on my VPS. So when an update arrives, I do that manually.

But that link above doesn’t answer my question. I internalized ACF main plugin successfully. My question to you was how to make it work with your fontawesome plugin … is there a way?

Have you looked at how old the url you’ve attached? Did anyone reply to that in a year? I looked everywhere to find the dev to catch his attention with no luck … who should I talk to about this issue and how would I even figure out if I’m doing anything wrong if there is no one to answer … are you that guy? Do you wanna talk about this? Let me know then we can talk …

I have the same issue. I was just testing the plugin on a brand new WP 4.5 install. Nothing other than “page load time” option works for me. Anything I choose and save, it reverts back to page load time. Can you help? Love this plugin … would like to use it … thx in advance.

It also broke Cardinal Theme. I use child theme 100% of the time. And trust me, you’ll be hearing from a lot of people …

Same here … The STUPID 4.5 completely destroyed my live site … Now what am I supposed to do? I was running Enfold Theme, no all the structure is there but no content … WHO WILL PAY FOR THIS????

Well, you may be right. But hear me out … this is what I have done:

1. kept all my plugins and themes updated.
2. kept wordpress updated.
3. installed and configured WordFence
4. installed and configured all the steps of iTheme except for SSL and file change monitoring.
5. installed NO CAPCHA ReCAPCHA as an added login protection.
6. my user name and password are more than 12 char complex ones.

They still managed to change my WP core files. Now you tell me what else could I have done. If any of you have any ideas, please let me know. At this point I’m completely lost … at this point if I blame a plugin, how wrong would I be?

Thank you Katherine. That’s exactly what I did to rescue my sites. They pretty much went white right after I enabled wp super cache. I should mention, my hosting is with Godaddy. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. But I’m having good luck with W3 Total Cache. It is not very complicated once you do your home work. There are plenty of trainings available on the web. At least it didn’t flat out kill all my sites. Anything that does that to begin with. I just lose all my motivation to research on it. There are plenty of other fishes in the sea. Whomever having luck with this crap(wp super cache), I say “Salud” …
