well, i was never able to fix it so installed “sweetcapatcha” instead on my page here https://www.extraaircraft.co.uk/index.php/contact/ problem is this solution is no good for ipad….

Ive got the same problem. The form does send the mail but the submitter would never know that….still looking for answers

well bit of a story as it beat the hosting peeps for a while. they had to delete it, I could not. Now im paying someone to set it all up for me. My host peeps are “historic” and don’t do one button installing which is a shame. I’ve got another WP site which is perfect https://www.markjefferiesairdisplays.com hence liking WP but this “pain” setting up is not necessary…..

thank you for your words spanka. so, ive tried deleting all files on the server and it advises me i cant do that… tried via FTP and also the servers own file manager, same error message Cant “delete files ” Seams that WP is some sore of roaming thing thats looking for a host and then wont let go… so i tried deleting the domain from the host. that didn’t work either as when i re-added the domain to host files were still there…so, ive given up, hope ive found someone who can do it for me and i take them flying, fair swap i guess.

Linux OS is free of charge if you don’t value your own time, ive found the same with WP !

apart from making a data base and the config file with the same data its obvious there is something else to do but what is it?
