i’m using the free version of wptouch, and i also thought https4wp was the culprit, but disabling https4wp didn’t fix the problem, so it looks like wptouch is incompatible w/ssl…or w/netsol’s vps hackery;-\

on further testing it seems wptouch is incompatible w/ssl:-(

i 4got 2 mention: the list of improvements is from the settings interface…all can be enabled/disabled/set.

but i’ve never had any success w/Ignored patterns…

i’ve also coded some improvements:

• redirect to 1st match found, otherwise show all matches
• redirect to exact match if found
• try to match on whole uri; default is tail only
• try walking up uri
• Debug: >0 to send debug to error log (1-5)

i’ve put it up as source & patch

i followed the manual install directions, deleting wp-includes & wp-admin, re-unzipping, but apparently those are not included:-\
so i scp’d my test server’s wp-include & wp-admin and that fixed my problem…whew:-)

reinstalled 3.4.2, now i get:

i had tested WordPress 3.5-RC5-23141 on my test server (w/same plugins) no problem:-( just updated to 3.5, no problems…

oops, spoke 2 soon: bwp-recaptcha interferes w/ pmp registration, but @ least it doesn’t kill the admin screens;-}

i just ran into this same problem:-( i then disabled pmp, enabled wp-recaptcha for comments, then when i reenabled pmp, all i get is blank screen, no way to fix it:-(

yup, back in bidness…backup.xml imported all the posts/pages, but still had 2 rebuild the themes/widgets/plugins…next time i’ll do a mysqldump/import;-\

i’ve reversed all my changes (wp_options via mysql), but it’s still hosed:-( i get the html title, but it just spins…

no, the problem occurred after i changed the wp url & moved the wp install. i did not change the admin passwd, so the the login problem is entirely due to the change.

how do i start all over?
