I used the search and replace tool, and although it found a few links that I wasn’t aware of it still hasn’t solved the issue of the address for the wp-contents folder, it is still showing https://212.67.219.81/wp-contents…….

I have changed the address in general settings it just seems to be on the wp content folder. I have also used the Velvet Blues update urls plugin, which hasn’t fixed it.

I used ‘duplicator plugin’ to transfer the wordpress site from Hostgator hosting onto a hybrid server.

mm it looks like it’s my machine. I tied on another computer and it all seems okay. I’ve had this for a few weeks and when I restart the computer all is well again

when I try to login to either account it redirects to https://www.stevenaitchison.co.uk

@plusvision – what did your host say was wrong.

I am on a dedicated server and have completely re-installed wordpress but am still getting the white screen, can’t login to backend or anything.

Any help appreciated

managed to get it sorted. Changed the wp-content file permissions to 755 and the themes folder to 755.

I was having the same problem as above and clearing the lines at the end of the config file fixed it. Thanks mvandenberghe

the front page at https://www.rodthomasblog.com there are no images showing at all in the flash player. also there are no thumbnail images at the top of each post on the front page. Hope that helps.

I managed to get this sorted.

Handy, thanks for the advice. I opened up Netscape browser and checked the blog there as I deactivated the plugins in firefox. And as I deactivated the google anaytics plugin it cleared the problem. Although i had done this yesterday i hadn’t cleared my cache or cookies so i would still have seen the problem, if that makes sense.

anyway it is sorted now.

Only problem is I have no ‘single’. I have page.php but no single. Where would I put it? (sorry if it sounds a silly question)

They come back listed in the comments, but in the main dashboard area under latest incoming links some of the pingbacks are not recognised as incoming links.

Does this make sense?
