Thank you for those suggestions, George. I am afraid that if I switch my theme (which took some work to create) I will lose some of its features once I try to switch back. I think I’ve had problems with that before…
I have disabled my plugins (without switching the theme), but that did not change anything.
Is there any chance this problem could have arisen from blocks? My widgets used to show up as normal, editable lists, but now they show up as blocks that cannot be edited. I never noticed a problem with categories until after the lists were converted to blocks.
