In reply to: WYSIWYG Editor Not Working ProperlyAfter much trial and error, I’ve discovered that it’s directly related to the Showtime theme downloaded from Themeforest. After activating the default theme, everything worked as it should. I’m leaving this as “not resolved” in hopes that the theme developers will help out.

In reply to: Wits' End on Visual Editor IssueI also disabled all plugins. I know it’s something with the default WYSIWYG editor because I downloaded the FolioPress WYSIWYG plugin and activated that… and everything works as it should.

In reply to: Wits' End on Visual Editor IssueI’m experiencing the exact same issues and have deleted wp-admin, wp-include, and all other files outside wp-content… and then re-uploaded them…. still no go. I can’t make any selected text a link or insert an image.

In reply to: Permalinks aren’t workingThanks for the tip! I set the permalink’s option in WordPress and went to my GoDaddy control panel and updated the 404 error handling. The links are still going to the 404 page, but it’s the old 404 page… not the homepage. There’s a note saying that it could take up to 30 minutes for the change to take affect.
So, as painful as it may be, I’m going to wait an hour to see if the changes take affect. Meanwhile, I hope traffic diminishes for a bit as I really don’t want people to think the site’s full of dead links.
I’ll keep you updated! Thanks again!

In reply to: Permalinks aren’t workingI was really hoping that it was going to work, but no go. This is what .htaccess looked like after I changed the permalink option:
<Directory /> Options +FollowSymLinks AllowOverride All </Directory> # BEGIN WordPress <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /index.php [L] </IfModule> # END WordPress
But, still, when I go to a page or post it takes me to a 404 error.
